Our client runs one of the  largest online rental marketplace in Europe with operations in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the UK and Finland. We are looking for a Drupal developer who enjoys developing complex software systems and is eager to become a part of the biggest rental marketplace in Germany. You will be working in a fast-paced environment directly with Head of Product and benefit from our wide network of contacts. Your key responsibilities will be to:
•	Design, develop, and maintain the online rental platform in Drupal
•	Provide technical expertise in the areas of web architecture, object-oriented software design, and implementation
•	Support product owner in project planning/estimation
•	Contributing to the conception of new functions
•	Configure, customize and integrate open source software (OSS)
•	Extending functionality by writing modules
Requirements:
•	A university degree with a technical focus: computer science/engineering or equivalent relevant professional experience
•	Passion for quality
•	Self starter, quick learner and team player
•	Excellent communication skills in English is essential, German is a plus
•	Profound experience in PHP
•	Experience in Drupal development
•	Proficient in RESTful services
•	Fluent in SQL with strong OOP skills, database experience, particularly with MySQL
•	Strong in HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Web UI libraries such as Mootools, JQuery, etc.
•	Experience in agile development methods like SCRUM and KANBAN
•	Good understanding of UI design principles of good usability, especially knowing when something is bad
Strongly preferred:
•	Drupal 7 experience
•	Experience with different caching technologies (Nginx, Memcached etc )
•	Experience developing for high traffic web sites
•	Experience in a mobile environment
